SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Andrew James Triplett, formerly of Clinton, died on May 2, 2009, in San Diego, CA. Andy was born in 1975 to James and Rebecca (Naeve) Triplett, graduating from Clinton High School in 1994. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1999 where he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. Andy had a successful career in information technologies and he lived in Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis and San Diego working as an IT consultant for two multi-national corporations, most recently PriceWaterhouseCoopers. As a result, Andy had many friends all over the country and was everyone’s “go to” guy when it came to questions about computers and every other type of electronic gadget.

Andy will be remembered always for his generous heart, his wonderful sense of humor and his love of travel and adventure. We will all miss him greatly.

He is survived by his parents and grandmother, Isabel Naeve, in Clinton; aunt Debra Naeve in California; aunts Nancy Triplett and Janet Triplett, uncle Tom Triplett, cousins Laura Triplett (husband, Tony Case) and Dena (Adam) Vernier, all in Minnesota; and by his beloved cat, George. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard Naeve and Richard and Joan Triplett.

A service was held in San Diego and according to Andy’s wishes he was cremated. Memorials to the Clinton Community School District Educational Foundation or Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation are preferred.
