CLINTON — Anna M. Hoffman, age 77, of Clinton, died Thursday March 5, 2009, at Mercy North Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. Casketbearers will be Jeffrey and Dwaine Rickertsen, Gary and Zachary Luck, Darryn McHenry and Dar Stoll.

Anna was born on Feb. 3, 1932, in East Dubuque, IL, the daughter of John and Ethel (Miller) O’Rourke. She married George Hoffman in 1952 in Cedar Rapids, IA; he died in 1966. She worked at the Bennett Box Company and the Mercy Hospital in laundry for over 28 years. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and the Women of the Moose. She enjoyed reading, watching TV and spending time with her family.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Merla (Gary) Rickertsen of Clinton; her special friend, Jane Dynes, of Clinton, with whom she made her home for 48 years; four grandchildren, Michelle Bails, Christina McHenry, Amy Stoll and Jeffrey Rickertsen; and eight great-grandchildren.
