CLINTON — The Clinton County Community Development Association announced the 2009 scholarship award recipients from area high schools and colleges.

The CCCDA provided seven area high schools with three scholarships each to be awarded to students chosen by the school. Two area colleges received two scholarships each, also to be awarded to students the schools selected.

Students receive $1,000 for one year in the amount of $500 each semester.

Calamus-Wheatland High School awarded scholarships to Brienna Hayes, Brittni Jones and Andy White.

Camanche High School awarded scholarships to Matthew Hinrichsen, Shawn Iben and Jenna Paysen.

Clinton High School awarded scholarships to Teagan Erikson-Willet, Stephanie Perrin and Katherine Sass.

DeWitt Central High School awarded scholarships to Casey Kreiter, Anna Mangan and Polly Myers.

Lincoln High School awarded scholarships to Ciera Marweg, John Gant and Courtney Naftzger.

Northeast High School awarded scholarships to Shaun Eberhart, Rachel Malkewitz and Emily Schroeder.

Prince of Peace Academy and College Preparatory awarded scholarships to Ian Anglese, Drew Sikkema and Joseph Vens.

Ashford University awarded scholarships to Kaitlin Lemke and Ashley Trenkamp.

Clinton Community College awarded scholarships to Mollie Horst and Caitlin Wagemester.
