One month after the Iowa  Board of Educational Examiners decided to rescind an earlier finding of probable cause of misconduct against her, Clinton High School's principal is once again facing accusations of violations of the professional conduct and ethics code.

The vote to find probable cause against Karinne Tharaldson Jones took place Friday in Des Moines.

The two most recent allegations accuse her of conducting professional business in such a way that the practitioner exposes students or other practitioners to unnecessary embarrassment or disparagement while the second accuses her of engaging in an act of illegal discrimination or otherwise denying a student or practitioner participation in the benefits of any program on the grounds of race, color, religion, age, sex, sex orientation, gender identity, disability, marital status or national origin.

The case now will go to formal hearing, with a date yet to be set.
