CLINTON — A three-alarm house fire caused extensive damage to a Clinton home Monday, with investigators today working to determine the cause of the blaze.

Firefighters were called to the Greg Graf residence, 708 Park Place, at 5:48 p.m.

When firefighters arrived, they found heavy fire and smoke coming from the garage and the rear of the 11/2-story house.

It took firefighters about 90 minutes to bring the fire under control and they called in off-duty fire personnel, including nine firemen, the fire marshal and the safety officer.

No one was injured in the fire.

Damage to the structure is estimated to be $90,000 with damage to the contents estimated at $25,000. The house and contents were fully insured.

Clinton police and the Gateway Area Chapter of the American Red Cross assisted at the scene. Clinton High School is planning a clothing drive for the fire victims. More information will be released after plans are developed.
