CLINTON — Clinton police have released the names of those involved in two separate crashes Friday night at Mill Creek Parkway and U.S. 30.

According to a press release issued Tuesday afternoon, the drivers involved in the first accident included Wendy Randall, 29, of Clinton, who was driving a 1991 Dodge Caravan, and Jane Wynkoop, 57, of Clinton. She was driving a 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse. That collision happened at 4:52 p.m. in the eastbound lane.

Four minutes later another crash at the same intersection, but in the westbound lane, involved Sarah Flood, 23, of Roscoe, Ill., who was driving a 1998 Ford Escort, and Wilson Bull, 52 of DeWitt, who was driving a 1997 Dodge Ram 250 truck.

One person from Flood’s vehicle was transported by helicopter to Genesis Hospital in Davenport and a second occupant in her vehicle was transported by city ambulance to Mercy North Hospital.

Traffic crash investigators indicate the accidents were separate collisions and nothing indicates to investigators that the first accident contributed to the second accident.

Both crashes are under investigation by the Clinton Police Department’s Traffic Crash Investigation Unit.
