The Clinton Jaycees are bringing a new carnival to town this year for Riverboat Days.

The carnival is owned by Indianhead Amusements from Spooner, Wis.  Indianhead Amusements will have a variety of rides for young children all the way up to adults.

Some of their rides are unique for a smaller carnival, such as bumper cars.

The hours for the carnival will be Thursday, July 1, from 6 to 10 p.m., and Friday, July 2, through Sunday, July 4, from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.  As always, Thursday will be a sneak a peak night where you can get in before Riverboat Days opens.  No Riverboat Days admission is needed and wrist bands for unlimited rides can be purchased for $15 with two nonperishable food items to help support our local food pantries.  Wristbands will be $20 without food items.

Wristband specials will also be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday and Sunday, when wristbands for unlimited rides during those times can be purchased for $20. Sunday is kids’ day at Riverboat Days, when children 12 and younger will be admitted to the grounds for free.
