The Clinton Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire early Sunday morning.
According to a press release, the fire department responded to an alarm at 2:49 a.m. for a structure fire at 2308 Roosevelt St., which is across the street from the Lyons Fire Station.
Engine company three was immediately on scene, reporting heavy smoke from the rear of the building containing three apartments. An engine, ladder truck, two ambulances and a command vehicle also responded.
All occupants were evacuated without incident and no injuries were reported, according to the press release. The fire was contained to the back porch and extinguished within 13 minutes from the alarm time. The fire remains under investigation.
