GOOSE LAKE — Three architects have been invited to make presentations concerning a proposed new fine arts facility to the Northeast Community School Board on Tuesday.

They are scheduled to be interviewed at 5 p.m. (Ament, Inc.), 6 p.m. (Richard L. Johnson) and 7 p.m. (Modern Design). The presentations will be open to the public in the library of the elementary school.

The regular school board meeting will then begin at 8 p.m. The board is scheduled to discuss the interviews later in the meeting. That discussion is also open to the public.

n Approval for the board president to sign an easement for Linda Pershing to have access to her property through land just purchased from the Kruse family.

n Request from the FFA chapter for permission to farm the seven acres of the Kruse property.

n Resignations from four coaches, the drama director and nutrition cashier, followed by appointment of head middle school football coach, an elementary teacher associate, nutrition cashier and high school boys track volunteer.

n Recommended property tax rate for next fiscal year. Superintendent Jim Cox has said any increase will be the result of the state of the economy at the state and federal levels.
