Police are seeking a man they say struck a young pedestrian with his vehicle last week in Clinton.
A police report states 6-year-old Ryan Snyder, of Clinton, received minor injuries when he was hit by a car as he ran across the street near Alliant Energy Field in the 100 block of Sixth Avenue North the evening of May 27.
When the boy’s mother spoke with the vehicle’s driver and told him she was taking her son to the hospital, the man left the scene without providing any information, according to the report.
The man is described in the report as a white male about 30 years old, and was believed to be driving a white 1990s Ford Tempo.
