Authorities are searching for two men who fled the scene of a shooting involving undercover Iowa drug investigators that left one person dead and one injured.

Johnson County Attorney Janet Lyness said Friday that investigators were trying to determine the facts surrounding the shooting at a mobile home park near Iowa City.

The shooting came while two state Division of Narcotics Enforcement agents were working undercover on an investigation at a trailer. Lyness said an altercation occurred, and shots were fired. It's not clear what caused the altercation and who fired first.

Lyness identified the man killed as Ivan Hardemon, and the injured man as Demarco Dudley. The agents weren't injured.

Police are searching for Norman Dudley and John Mulbah, who are thought to have been present during the shooting.
