KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Pairings for the 2013 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Men’s Soccer National Championship were announced Monday afternoon and Ashford University has been selected to host an opening-round matchup this Saturday.
The Ashford men earned the No. 4 seed in the tournament and will host the Wolves of Cardinal Stritch University (Wis.). Stritch earned an automatic bid to the tournament by winning the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular-season championship and is 12-5-2 this season.
The winner of Saturday’s matchup will advance to face the winner of No. 13 Baker University (Kan.) vs. Midland University (Neb.) in the Round of 16 in Montgomery, Ala. on Dec. 2.
Start times for the 32-team bracket will be announced today.
