Clinton declares snow emergency, delays trash collection

CLINTON — The City of Clinton has declared a snow emergency to be in effect from 6 p.m. Thursday until all streets have been cleared.

If vehicles have not been removed by 7 p.m. Thursday, the Clinton Police Department will enforce the ticket and/or towing process.

In addition, collection of solid waste and recycling will be delayed by one day. Friday’s solid waste and recycling route will be collected on Saturday to allow city employees to plow streets.

Questions can be directed to the City of Clinton Public Works Department at 242-0261.
