UPDATED: Most sporting events through weekend cancelled due to weather

CLINTON — Most area sporting events have been cancelled tonight.

• Clinton High is postponing all athletic events including Saturday's home swim meet. Basketball at Burlington scheduled for Jan. 11. No word yet on swimming make up date.

• Durant-Bennett at Camanche basketball rescheduled for Feb. 11.

• Remaining West Carroll Holiday tournament games cancelled (Friday and Saturday).

• Prince of Peace at Marquette basketball cancelled with no make up date set.

• Central DeWitt AD Kurt Kreiter said Saturday's Saber Invitational Wrestling tournament will continue as planned at 9 a.m. tomorrow.

• Tipton at Northeast basketball cancelled with no make up date set.

• Wilton at Bellevue basketball rescheduled for Jan. 25.

• Midland at Easton Valley basketball rescheduled for Feb. 1.

• Cedar Valley Christian at Calamus-Wheatland rescheduled for Jan. 11.

• Iowa Lakes at Clinton Community College (Yourd Gym) basketball on Saturday has been canceled; no make date slated.
