Clinton declares snow emergency, delays trash collection

CLINTON — The City of Clinton has declared a snow emergency to be in effect from 7 p.m. Monday until all streets have been cleared.

If vehicles have not been removed by 8 p.m. on Monday, the Clinton Police Department will enforce the ticket and/or towing process. Collection of Solid Waste and Recycling will be delayed this week due to the snowstorm.

In addition, there will be no solid waste/recycling collection on Tuesday.

Tuesday’s route will be collected on Wednesday; Wednesday’s route will be collected on Thursday; with Thursday and Friday routes both collected on Friday to allow city employees to snow plow the streets. Questions can be directed to the City of Clinton Public Works Department at 242-0261.
