CLINTON — Three of the four students injured in a bus collision Tuesday have been released from the hospital.
The fourth student is being treated for a broken foot and a possible cheek bone fracture. The student also had several lacerations.
The Clinton police and fire departments responded to a collision at 7:05 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of 13th Avenue North and Third Street. The collision involved a Clinton School District bus and a pickup truck.
The school bus was traveling north on Third Street when a westbound truck entered the intersection from 13th Avenue North and struck the passengers’ side of the bus. The impact of the collision resulted in the school bus rolling onto its side.
The driver of the school bus and the driver of the truck refused medical attention.
The driver of the truck was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
