Grain futures mostly higher, livestock prices higher
CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures were mostly higher Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery rose 3.50 cents to $6.4650 a bushel; December corn rose 2.25 cents to $4.5625 a bushel; December oats were 3 cents lower at $3.0375 a bushel; while November soybeans advanced 5.25 cents to $13.4775 a bushel.
Beef and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle rose .10 cent to $1.2527 a pound; October feeder cattle was .43 cent higher at $1.5830 a pound; while October lean hogs were .75 cent higher at $.9072 a pound.
