Grain mixed, livestock higher
CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for March delivery fell 6.50 cents to $6.6175 a bushel; March corn were 5.25 cents higher at 4.3650 a bushel; March oats were 2.75 cents lower at $3.2675 a bushel; while January soybeans advanced 9.75 cents $13.2950 a bushel.
Beef and pork rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
February live cattle rose .32 cent to $1.3442 a pound; January feeder cattle rose .20 cent to $1.6505 a pound; while February lean hogs were .03 cents higher at $.8900 a pound.
