Stacey Schroeder earns CTC designation

CLINTON — Stacey Schroeder, CTC of Gateway Travel & Cruise, in Clinton recently earned the Certified Travel Counselor designation from The Travel Institute.
The Certified Travel Counselor designation is conferred by the Travel Institute upon travel professionals who complete an advanced certification program, demonstrate extensive industry knowledge and experience and exemplify the highest standard of professionalism.
The CTC curriculum covers a number of skill areas that prepare the candidate for leadership roles in the industry focusing on courses that develop business, professional and managerial skills. The program is also designed to allow each candidate to tailor the program to meet their specific needs or career aspirations/specializations.
Schroeder has been a travel counselor for nine years and has sent more than 5,000 clients on vacation experiences. She specializes in Caribbean, Mexico, Las Vegas and Hawaii. Her other professional recognitions included receiving her CTA certification, Destination Wedding Specialist, Princess Cruise Line, Holland America, Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruise Line Specialist.
