Two businesses open on Thomson’s Main Street

— THOMSON, Ill. — Local residents are welcomed to the grand opening of two new businesses on Saturday, June 27.
Main Street Looks and Dawn’s Original Grooming will both be opening their doors and welcoming members of the community to their new locations on Main Street in Thomson. Hair stylist Nicole Hartman is the owner of Main Street Looks. The owner of Dawn’s Original Grooming is Dawn Burkholder.
The open house will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Door prizes and product specials will be available. People attending the open house will receive 25 percent off any services for both businesses, and appointments made on that day will receive discounts.
Main Street Looks hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. People may call (815) 259-4247 to make appointments. Dawn's Original Grooming is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling (815) 259-2045. Walk-ins are welcome.
