Citizens First announces expansion

CLINTON — Citizens First Bank has announced plans for the expansion of its Midtown facility located at 1329 N. Second St. in Clinton. Construction for the expansion was to begin Friday.

Citizens First Bank received its charter in March 2000, with assets currently in excess of $130 million.

Its first and Main branch is located at 1442 Lincoln Way in Clinton.

The expansion at its Second Street location will accommodate a new conference room, an employee kitchenette/break area, additional offices, storage, expanded teller line and upgraded customer service area.

Tom Soenksen, President/CEO of Citizens First Bank, said, “This expansion follows previous growth initiatives that expanded our Main branch and added branches to the Second Street and 403 S. Washington Blvd, Camanche, locations and reflects our confidence in the strength and future of the area. Please bear with us through the expansion process as we will continue normal operations out of the facility during construction.”
