Morrison hospital recognizes employees
MORRISON, Ill. — The Morrison Community Hospital recently held their first annual service awards dinners at the Blue Goose Run in Morrison.
MCH board members, Luke Vander Bleek and Don Beswick, were the guest speakers.
Judi Schaver from the medical/surgical floor, received an award for 47 years of service at MCH.
“I’ve never met another person who has worked that long in one place,” said John Perushek, CEO of Morrison Community Hospital. “You have to be extremely passionate about your job to stay committed for that long. Judi’s compassion for her patients is an inspiration to all of us.”
Other MCH staff members with 20 or more years of service are: Larry Voss, 35 years, Sharon Webb, 32, Jean Reed, 31, Ellen Voss, 31, Lavetta Griffis, 30, Nancy Glazier, 29, Mekie Jo Green, 23, Terri Boles, 22, and Carol Hill, 20.
“We would all like to thank the MCH Board of Directors for approving this new benefit and Kathy Pennock, director of human resources, for her efforts in establishing the program,” said Neil Cooperrider, director of social services. “Also, thank you to John Perushek, Don Beswick and Luke Vander Bleek for their kind words of support, recognition and inspiration.”
