Jewelry store re-opens after closing 17 years ago

CLINTON — River’s Edge Black Hills Gold and More recently opened at 415 S. Second St. It originally opened in 1988 as Kodiak Black Hills Gold and closed in 1992. After 17 years, with the help of her two daughters, Toni and Tina, Shirley Richardson re-opened the store. The grand opening was held Sept. 24 with the Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce.

River’s Edge Black Hills Gold and More offers many selections of authentic black hills gold from companies such as Stampers, Mt. Rushmore, South Dakota Gold and Landstrom’s. There is a lifetime guarantee on all jewelry sold. Repairs and sizings are done by a long-time friend of Richardson.

The store is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Friday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and Saturday. Hours will change during the holiday season and will be posted on the business door. For more information, call (563) 244-4653, fax 242-0576 or visit riversedgebhg.com.
