Sears named Premier Store

CLINTON — The Sears Hometown Store of Clinton has been named a 2013 recipient of the honor of Sears Hometown Premier Store.

This award recognizes Sears Hometown stores across the country that offer high levels of customer service, store performance and standards. The Clinton store was one of 442 locations throughout the U.S. to receive this national recognition for this past quarter.

“To be honored as a Premier Store is a great achievement not only for our store, but also for the community we strive to serve everyday,” Darrick Bickford, owner and operator of the Sears Hometown Store in Clinton, said. “We could not have earned this without the support of our community, and we want to thank our customers for shopping with us throughout the year.”

Forty-nine percent of Sears Hometown Stores received this award for this past quarter, and this year, each store receiving Premier Store status was given the opportunity to participate in special events along with other Premier Stores.

“We are thrilled to designate Darrick Bickford and the Sears Hometown Store of Clinton as a Premier Store, as a testament to the hard work and dedication shown each and every day to support the community,” said Will Powell, senior vice president/COO of Sears Hometown Stores and Outlet Stores, Inc. “We are committed to continually assisting Hometown Stores and their communities, so that customers everywhere can shop closer to home and enjoy the quality and value found at Sears.”
