Camanche Days kicks off tonight. During the opening ceremonies tonight, the Camanche Days King and Queen will be presented.

This year’s winner is Jim and Pat Drury. They were nominated by their grandson, Dillon Drury. Other couples nominated were Dave and Pam Langfitt and Ed and Ruth Evans.

The Drurys have been married for 58 years and are the parents of David, Brian and Lucinda (Lind). They are the grandparents of Dillon, Courtney, Justine, Sarah, Brianna and Zachery. They have one great-grandson, Ayden.

Jim retired from John Deere Harvester in 1986 and has been a scoutmaster, city councilman, Mason and member of the American Legion and Kiwanis.
