LOWDEN — North Cedar defeated Camanche 9-6 on Monday in River Valley Conference softball.
Olivia Baxa scattered seven hits over seven innings to earn the win.
Julia Moore had a single and a double, and Kylie Vogel had a pair of singles for the Indians. Jordan Nissen, Morgan Mussmann and Kelsey Sexton had one hit each for Camanche.
Mussmann was the losing pitcher, allowing five hits in four innings. Sexton finished, giving up three runs on four hits over the final two innings.
LISBON — Marquette Catholic ran its record to 17-1 on Monday as it swept Lisbon 4-2 and 8-2 in Tri-Rivers Conference softball.
The Mohawks scored two runs in each of the first and sixth innings in the 4-2 win and went ahead for good 3-2 with a two-run second in the other game. They put the finishing touches on that one by scoring four runs in the top of the seventh.
BELLEVUE — Mid-Prairie broke open a 2-1 game with two runs in the sixth and five more in the top of the seventh as it defeated Bellevue 9-1 on Monday in the River Valley Conference.
