NelsonCorp, Montgomery Accounting announce collaboration

CLINTON —  NelsonCorp Wealth Management and Montgomery Accounting recently announced that Montgomery Accounting has moved to the NelsonCorp office located at 880 13th Ave North in Clinton.

NelsonCorp President David Nelson and Deb Montgomery, CPA and owner of Montgomery Accounting, both indicated this move was part of a strategic collaboration of professional services and in keeping with their ongoing efforts to provide comprehensive services to clients through one-stop access.

“We feel very fortunate to have the Montgomery Accounting team moving into our Clinton location given they share the same ‘clients-first’ philosophy as NelsonCorp,” Nelson said. “The convenience of providing multiple specialized services at one location is very important to the both of our teams.”

NelsonCorp has more than 30 years of service to its clients, and this announcement solidifies its commitment to the future, Nelson said.

“Deb’s relocation to our office is one of the reasons for our 3,100-square-foot expansion that is currently under construction,” Nelson said. “Offering comprehensive financial planning and accounting services in one building will help us to continue to fulfill the Gold Medal Service commitment we have made to our clients in 22 states.”

Montgomery Accounting has provided professional accounting services to the Clinton and surrounding areas for more than 20 years.

“We are extremely excited to be where we are, collaborating professional services with NelsonCorp,” said Montgomery. “It is exciting to be part of the new construction and growth, and we look forward to offering the same great service our clients have come to expect over the years.”

Both Nelson and Montgomery Accounting emphasized the local area has never before had two independent firms of this magnitude at one location, collaborating to offer clients’ easy access to financial advisers offering retirement and wealth planning as well as professional accounting services by a CPA. Nelson Corp and Montgomery are two separate businesses located under one roof. Current and future clients will have the option of working with one or both entities.
