---- — CLINTON — No arrests have been made in several ongoing Clinton police cases.
Capt. Tom Bohle confirmed that Clinton police have still not located the perpetrator of a Feb. 27 robbery at Clinton National Bank, 1912 N. Second St.
An individual, described as a white male with a thin build wearing a dark multi-colored stocking cap, a dark-colored hooded coat and blue jeans, robbed the bank at 11:50 a.m. and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
Despite having released photographs of the male from surveillance video footage to the public, the police have not apprehended a suspect.
Bohle said they continue to work with the FBI on this active case.
“We’re doing everything we can do,” Bohle said.
Clinton police also are continuing to investigate a July stabbing and an August home invasion.
Officers responded at 1:18 a.m. July 19 for a man stabbed at The Bar, 130 N. Fourth St. Victim Darren Cross was injured as result of the stabbing and was transported to Mercy Medical Center by private party. He was transferred to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Police are looking for a second perpetrator in an Aug. 6 home invasion at 1221 S. Ninth St. Police responded at 4:01 p.m. to a report of two men, armed with handguns, burglarizing an occupied residence.
A suspect, later identified as Jason Monroe, was detained by several individuals and was taken to Mercy Medical Center for treatment of injuries.
Monroe is charged with first-degree burglary. A second suspect fled the scene before police arrived and has not been apprehended.
He was described as a black male, last seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
