---- — CLINTON — After being open for a little more than a year, Jessica Seibel is hoping to hire additional staff at Shear Elegance, 2311 N. Second St.

Seibel has always dreamed of having her own salon. Last summer, that dream became a reality when she took over the old Maggie’s Total Dimensions location.

Besides offering a variety of hair styling and perming services, the salon also provides spray tans, manicures, pedicures, wigs and more. She is looking for a new esthetician and masseuse so she can provide facials and massages again.

“It’s nice to be able to service all of their (customers) needs while they’re here,” Seibel said.

She currently has five staff members, including herself, but hopes to hire more. Since opening last year, she has seen steady business, including wedding parties. Each Thursday and Friday, she offers daily specials.

Shear Elegance is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays; and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.Wednesdays and Saturdays.

To schedule an appointment, call 243-8761. Walk-ins also are welcome.
