Area July Fourth activities planned

CLINTON — Need a refresher on Clinton area July Fourth activities? Here's our complete list.

Bellevue

- Fireworks at dusk south of the lock and dam on Riverview Street.

Clinton

- Volleyball and bags tournaments are slated for the morning and a kids’ event at the Showboat Theater will take place at 11 a.m. Other park activities will start at 2 p.m. after the parade. More information can be found in our article, Fourth to Remember.

- A parade will start at 1 p.m. along Riverview Drive.

- Park activities will end at 6 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., skydivers will descend into Ashford University Field.

- Showboat Theater will put on the “Sound of Music” at 6:30 p.m.

- Fireworks will follow the 7 p.m. LumberKings game at Ashford University Field.

Grand Mound

- Fireworks at dusk at Grand Mound ballpark, 300 East St.

Mount Carroll, Ill.

- Fireworks at dusk at athletic field, 633 S. East St.

Prophetstown, Ill.

- Fireworks at Prophetstown State Park have been canceled due to flooding, according to Sauk Valley.
