---- — CLINTON — Homemade goodies and trinkets are great gifts to give this holiday season, and many local craft enthusiasts will have a chance to view the season’s best at the Symphony of Lights craft show on Saturday and Sunday.

For the second year, craft vendors from all around will join together to display their work, from homemade jewelry and scarves to cookies and fudge

“I have over 45 people that will showcase their handmade items,” event coordinator Pam Ryder said.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and again from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Those who wish to attend the event are encouraged to bring winter apparel like hats, mittens, gloves and scarves to donate to children in the community in need of little warmth this winter.

While admission to the event is free, anyone attending from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. will have to pay the Symphony of Lights fee but will have the opportunity to witness the lighted displays around the park.

With temperatures expected to drop this weekend, Ryder anticipates that attendance at this year’s event will be even bigger than last year.

“The first year was great and we’re hoping that with the weather being pretty cold this weekend, that we’ll do even better this year,” Ryder said.
