CLINTON — The YWCA is currently taking registrations for the next eight-week session of fitness classes.
The new class session begins the week of Oct. 28. The YWCA offers more than 50 fitness classes for a variety of ages and fitness levels including Zumba, boot camp, athletic assault, yoga, Pilates, Silver Sneakers, aquacise and others. Fitness classes are free with YWCA membership.
Community members also may participate in classes by paying for the class by session or by purchasing a 10-visit pass. For class descriptions, dates and times, visit the YWCA website at www.ywcaclinton.org.
Fitness classes that have been added this fall include power yoga, pre-natal yoga and water boot camp.
As a service to YWCA members, free babysitting is available for children 6 months to 12 years while the parent uses the fitness facilities. Babysitting hours are from 8 to 11:30 a.m. and from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturdays.
