Hlubek, Mullholland promoted at Custom-Pak

CLINTON Two long-time employees are moving up at Clinton's Custom-Pak.

Eric Hlubek was promoted to Machinery Development Manager after 17 years with the company. Hlubek began his career with Custom-Pak in September of 1998 as a designer working in Custom-Pak’s Machinery Development group.

In his new position, he will be responsible for the operations of Custom-Pak’s Machinery Development group, the ongoing improvement of Custom-Pak’s primary and secondary manufacturing equipment and the invention and development of new equipment and processes, as needed, to keep Custom-Pak on the forefront of manufacturing technology. Hlubek will report to the President and CEO of Custom-Pak.

He and his wife Teresa and their two children, Dalton and Garrett, live near Morrison, Illinois.

The second promotion, Mike Mulholland, has taken on Vice President and General Manager of Custom-Pak’s Group C manufacturing facility located in Clinton.

Mulholland started in 1988 as a draftsman working in Custom-Pak’s Product Development Center. In 1991, he was promoted to the position of Sales Service Designer in Group A, and in 1992 he became the sales manager of Group A. In 2005, Mullholland was promoted to the position of operations manager of Group A. And since August of 2010, he held the position of General Manager of Custom-Pak’s Group C manufacturing facility.

He is now an officer of Custom-Pak, Inc. He will continue to have P&L responsibility for Custom-Pak’s Group C manufacturing facility and he will continue to have reporting responsibility to the President and CEO of Custom-Pak.

Mulholland graduated from Clinton Community College where he received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Drafting and Design. In 2011, he graduated from Ashford University with a bachelor's degree in Organizational Management. He and his wife Dawn and their three sons live in Clinton.
