---- — CLINTON — Clinton police are investigating remnants of methamphetamine found in a Dumpster earlier this week.
Clinton Police Capt. Tom Bohle confirmed that officers were called to a Dumpster behind 307 Second Ave. South at approximately 7 p.m. Monday. Items used for the manufacturing of meth were found and rendered safe.
Police officers certified in handling hazardous materials declared it to be safe. An environmental team cleaned the area and disposed of the material Tuesday.
