CLINTON — A free skin cancer screening will be held this weekend in Clinton.
The Soderstrom Skin Institute will provide a free mole and skin cancer screening from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at 2315 Roosevelt St. No appointment is necessary.
For the past 35 years, Soderstrom Skin Institute has provided this free skin cancer screening service to more than 30,000 patients. To learn more, visit SoderstromSkinInstitute.com
According to Soderstrom Skin Institute, 15 screenings have been held this year, and hundreds of skins cancers have been found. Out of the diagnosis from the cancers, 128 patients were diagnosed with melanoma, the most deadly form of skin cancer.
