CLINTON — The Alverno Health Care Facility in Clinton will host area food trucks on Tuesday, Aug. 15, to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association.
According to the Alzheimer's Association, more than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's and it is currently the sixth leading cause of death in the United States. You can help the fight against Alzheimer's by making The Alverno your stop for a snack or lunch between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 15. Participating trucks include Kelley Girls Woodfire Pizza, Holly's Dogs, Mahala Sweet Treats and Deanna's Java Station.
The Alverno Health Care Facility provides long-term care, memory care, skilled nursing, palliative care and respite care for aging individuals in Clinton and the surrounding area. Facility tours and information on The Alverno's services, including memory care, will be available during the fundraiser in addition to all of the food options. For more information, call 242-1521.
