CLINTON — The annual Christmas Open House at the George Curtis Mansion will be held Sunday.
The open house will be from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at the mansion. There will be no charge to view the first floor of the home but a donation can be made in the dining room where cookies, punch and coffee will be available. The complete tour of the three floors by a tour guide will be $10 per person or $8 for seniors over 62 and children.
Nuts and chocolate covered nuts will again be for sale on the first floor. This is the annual fundraiser for the Clinton Women’s Club and they have 28 varieties for sale that are from $7.50 per bag and up. Among the variety of nuts are: pecans, walnuts, pistachios, peanuts, cashews, almonds, and 15 kinds of chocolate cover nuts, both milk chocolate and dark chocolate. Nuts are now available at Clinton Printing.
A few dates are still available to rent the mansion for Christmas parties. For further information, call 242-8556.
