FULTON, Ill. — The Twin Rivers “After Five” dinner and program will be held next week.
The program is set from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Triple Play Banquet and Bowl in Fulton. Cost of the dinner is $11. All women are invited.
The inspirational speaker and special feature will be Bea Ingersoll from Albany, Illinois. She will present “Childlike Memories” as she shows her collection of antique children’s books such as “Heidi,” “Little Women,” “Winnie-the-Pooh” and “The Tale of Peter Rabbit.”
Ingersoll will explore the authors on why they wrote their books in a 45 minute interactive talk. Ladies will be encouraged to share their nostalgic experiences about their favorite children’s books, or bring a favorite children’s book to show.
