Medford (2-7) at Garber (9-0) — Final regular season test for the defending state champion Wolverines, who are riding a 23-game winning streak. Garber’s first-team defense has allowed only one touchdown. Medford is looking to end a four-game losing streak. The Cardinals lead the series 16-12 since 1970, but Garber won last year’s game, 64-36.
Covington-Douglas (4-3, 5-4) at Kremlin-Hillsdale (4-3, 5-4) — This game will decide fourth-place and the final playoff spot in District C-3. The homestanding Broncs haven’t gone to the postseason since their state championship season of 2000. Covington-Douglas is looking for its sixth straight trip to the playoffs. Kremlin-Hillsdale quarterback Jake Streck has thrown for 41 touchdowns. The Wildcats have won the last eight meetings and lead the series, 24-17 since 1970.

Woodward (2-4, 3-6) at Southeast (0-6, 2-7) — Woodward is trying to break a two-game losing streak. The homestanding Spartans have lost six straight since a 52-0 win over Capitol Hill Sept. 18. Woodward is assured of its eighth straight losing season. The Boomers lead the series 4-2 since 1976, but Southeast won last year’s game, 12-0.
Fairview (0-6, 0-9) at Alva (1-5, 3-6) — Alva is trying to break a four-game losing streak. Fairview has lost 11 straight since beating St. Mary’s, 41-7 on Oct. 24, 2008. The homestanding Goldbugs are assured of their first losing season since 2001. Fairview tries to avoid its first 0-10 season since 2002. The Yellowjackets have held only one team under 34 points this season. The Goldbugs have won the last six meetings and hold a 14-13 edge in the series since 1972. Last district meeting for at least two years because Fairview drops to Class A next season.
Perry (3-3, 5-4) at John Marshall (4-2, 7-2) — The Bears clinch a playoff spot with a victory. Perry could knock John Marshall out of the postseason, though, with a win. Perry won last year’s game, 28-7.
Newkirk (4-2, 6-3) at Kingfisher (5-1, 7-2) — The homestanding Yellowjackets, ranked No. 7 in Class 2A, can clinch second place in District 2A-1 with a win. If Kingfisher wins and Heritage Hall is upset by St. Mary’s, the Yellowjackets are the district champions. If Heritage Hall and Kingfisher win, the Yellowjackets will finish second. If Newkirk and Heritage Hall win, the Tigers are second in the district and Kingfisher will finish third. If Heritage Hall loses and Newkirk and John Marshall win, there’s a four-way tie for first. Heritage Hall has 63 points in the Arkansas Plan, followed by Kingfisher with 52, John Marshall with 42 and Newkirk with 8. Kingfisher won last year’s game, 48-12.
Okeene (6-2, 7-2) at Beaver (5-3, 5-4) — The Dusters could force a three-way tie for third in A-1 by upsetting the No. 8-ranked visiting Whippets, provided Texhoma beats winless Hooker. Texhoma has 44 points in the Arkansas Plan compared to 43 for Okeene and 15 for Beaver. If Beaver won by 14 or more points, it would knock Okeene out of the playoffs. The last time the Whippets didn’t qualify for the playoffs was 2000. Beaver has won four of its last five games, including a 53-34 win over Pioneer last week. The Whippets had their highest offensive production of the season last week in a 62-0 rout of Hooker last week. Okeene leads the series 5-1 since 1980.
Turpin (4-4, 5-4) at Hennessey (8-0, 9-0) — Turpin was knocked out of the playoff picture last week in a 16-0 loss to Texhoma. No. 3-ranked Hennessey clinched the District A-1 championship with a 38-0 win over Chisholm. It was the fourth shutout of the season for the Eagles defense. Hennessey held Chisholm to 51 yards rushing. It was the eighth time this season the Eagles held an opponent to 75 yards or less on the ground. Hennessey quarterback Matt Luetjen has scored 14 touchdowns and has passed for 12 more. Hennessey won last year’s game, 32-14.
Hooker (0-7, 0-9) at Texhoma (5-3, 6-3) — The homestanding Red Devils clinched a playoff berth last week by beating Turpin. Hooker is trying to break a 30-game losing streak and avoid its third straight 0-10 season. Texhoma won last year’s game, 43-6.
Minco (2-5, 3-6) at Cashion (7-0, 9-0) — Cashion, ranked No. 6 in Class A, clinched the District A-2 championship with a 39-6 win over Wellston last week. Minco has lost four of its last five games. Cashion will host the fourth-place finisher from A-1 next week.
Wellston (0-7, 1-8) at Crescent (2-5, 3-6) — Wellston is trying to break a eight-game losing streak. Crescent is trying to end a four-game losing streak. Wellston won last year’s game, 36-35.
OCS (5-2, 7-2) at Luther (4-3, 5-4) — The winner finished third in District A-2 and will travel to Oklahoma Bible Academy for the first round of the playoffs next week. OCS has lost only to No. 6 Cashion (12-10) and No. 8 Watonga (14-0). The Saints won last year’s game, 27-13.
Watonga (6-1, 7-2) at Thomas (2-5, 4-5) — Watonga clinched second place in District A-2 last week with a 14-0 win over Luther. The Eagles will host the third-place team from District A-1 next week. Trevon Hartfield has scored 15 touchdowns and has thrown for 16 more. A loss would give Thomas its fourth straight losing season. Watonga leads the series 3-0, including a 48-6 rout last season.

Ringwood (1-6, 1-8) at Geary (3-4, 4-5) — The visiting Red Devils are trying to break a five-game losing streak. Geary is coming off a 28-8 loss to 8-1 Deer Creek-Lamont. Ringwood, a state semifinalist last season, isn’t going to the playoffs for the first time since 2001. The Red Devils won last year’s game, 60-14 and lead the series 2-1 since 2002.
Laverne (4-3, 5-4) at Merritt (0-7, 0-9) — The visiting Tigers will clinch third in District B-1 with a win over the Oilers. All nine of Merritt’s losses have been by 30 or more points. Laverne is coming off a 40-14 win over Waukomis. The Tigers won last year’s game, 48-6.
Balko (0-7, 0-8) at Waynoka (5-2, 6-2) — The Railroaders are in the playoffs, but their playoff destination is yet to be determined. If Forgan beats Boise City and Waynoka beats Balko, there’s a three-way tie for second in District C-1 which would be broken by the Arkansas Plan tiebreaker. Boise City has 63 points under the plan, compared to 52 for Forgan and 33 for Waynoka. Boise City has the tiebreaker over Waynoka. If Boise City and Waynoka win, the Rails are third from having beaten Forgan 16-8 last week. Waynoka leads the series 16-14 since 1974.
Forgan (5-2, 5-4) at Boise City (6-1, 8-1) — Boise City’s lone loss was to No. 1-ranked Shattuck the second week of the season. The Wildcats have won seven straight since. Boise City finishes second in District A-1 with a victory. The Wildcats won last year’s game, 22-18.
Shattuck (7-0, 9-0) at Buffalo (2-5, 3-6) — Shattuck set a national 8-man record last week by beating Goodwell 401-4 for its 91st straight victory. Shattuck hasn’t lost since falling to Pond Creek-Hunter in the 2002 Class C state semifinals. Buffalo is not going to the playoffs for the first time since 1999. Shattuck leads the 8-man series, 7-2, including a 60-14 win a year ago. The Indians have won the last seven meetings.
Braman (0-7, 0-9) at Seiling (6-1, 8-1) — Seiling finishes second in District C-3 if DCLA loses to Timberlake. The Wildcats are ranked No. 3 in Class C. Seiling scored 60 or more points in a game for the third time this season last week with a 66-20 rout of Kremlin-Hillsdale. Eddy Pittman returned two pass interceptions for touchdowns. All of Braman’s losses have been by the 45-point mercy rule.
