Spring Fling has arrived

Event slated for April 12

FULTON, Ill. — The Fulton Spring Fling has arrived and everyone is invited.

The second installment of the Robert Fulton Community Center community activities is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 12, and will feature a variety of entertainment for people of all ages.

Guests can explore the multitude of vendors offering handmade items ranging from artwork and jewelry to quilts and dog clothes. If brand name items suit the style more, products including Mary Kay, Scentsy and Pampered Chef also will be featured at the event.

To give shoppers the energy they need, D's Smokin' BBQ will serve up brisket, pulled pork sandwiches, ribs and hot dogs and the Munch Box will feature the sweet side with fried Oreos, cotton candy, snow cones and funnel cakes.

More than 30 booths will be available for browsing and buying at the craft and vendor show, and event organizers Linda Hollis and Charity Houzenga say "there will be something for everyone."

Spaces are still available for anyone interested in joining the event but time is limited. For a chance at gaining a spot at the community event, contact Houzenga at (563) 613-2873.

All rental fees generated at the Spring Fling afternoon will be donated to the Robert Fulton Community Center for renovation and operation costs.
