CLINTON — Officials with Finally Friday at the River have announced the summer schedule for the concert series.
Keep Off the Grass and Midnight Ramble will start off the summer on Friday, June 7. Keep Off the Grass was voted the best Quad-Cities band for three consecutive years in the 1990s. Midnight Ramble is a three-piece classic rock band from Maquoketa.
Bowman, Pickney and Evans will reunite for a show on Friday, July 5. Todd Striley and the Noise also will perform during that show.
The Fry Daddies will start the concert on Friday, Aug. 2, with Meet the Press scheduled to perform later that evening. Meet the Press is newly reunited 1980s class rock band from the Quad-Cities.
The concert series will wrap up Friday, Sept. 6, with Clinton’s blues act, the Unidynes, and the country band, Dirt Road Rockers.
Music starts at 6 p.m. for all the concerts and concludes at approximately 9 p.m. Food and beverage will be available.
These are free events, but donations will be accepted.
