---- — DEWITT — If health care reform has you feeling confused and overwhelmed, your local Farm Bureau agents may be able to help.
On Thursday, Oct. 10, beginning at 8 a.m. or noon and also on Thursday, Oct. 17, starting at 4 p.m. or 6 p.m., Barbara Collins, Megan D. Fuglsang and Lance Stockwell will host an informational health care reform seminar to help residents get ready for the changes coming in 2014. The free events will be held at the DeWitt Public Library.
At the seminar, you’ll be able to ask questions about the Affordable Care Act. You can expect to hear about topics like how the law affects people younger than age 65, when you can buy health insurance, who can get health coverage and the importance of working with a professional. You’ll also have the chance to sign up for a customized, no obligation health insurance analysis to make sure you make the best health insurance decisions for you and your family.
Contact the DeWitt Office at (563) 659-5135 to reserve a spot. For more online information, check out Wellmark’s health care reform website WeKnowReform.com.
