Task force makes drug arrest
Rochester man arraigned following investigation

ALBION —
A Rochester resident was arrested in Albion last week for allegedly selling crack cocaine to an undercover investigator, Supervising Investigator Joseph F. Sacco of the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force said Monday.
The Oct. 16 arrest capped a four-month investigation by the task force and the Greater Rochester Area Narcotics Enforcement Team.
The suspect, Excell J. Marks, 36, of 423 Driving Park, Rochester, was charged with one count of second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony, and five counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance for selling large quantities of crack cocaine, Sacco said.
Marks was arraigned in Albion Town Justice Court by Judge Kevin Howard and was sent to the Orleans County Jail without bail. He is scheduled to be back in court at 9 a.m. today.
Further arrests and charges are pending, police said.
