Leota M. Jambois

CLINTON — Leota M. Jambois, 74, of Clinton, IA, died, Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Big Meadows, Savanna, IL.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 28, 2009, at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Morrison, IL. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig assisted the family with arrangements.

She was born January 22, 1935, in Savanna, IL, the daughter of Roy and Goldie (Voshel) Johnson.

She was a commercial fisherman with her husband from 1958 to 2002.

She was a member of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Morrison.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda Sue Traum of Clinton; adopted son, Steve Smith of Clinton; and special friends, Mary Lang and Shirley Jacobs.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son.
