FULTON, Ill. — Marjorie J. Hartman, 88, of Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clinton, and formerly of Fulton, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 2009, at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home in Fulton, Ill. The Rev. Tom Merchant, pastor of Trinity Reformed Church, Fulton, will officiate.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at the Fulton Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home until the time of the service.
Burial will be in Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton.
Memorials can be given to Genesis Hospice, Clinton, and Trinity Reformed Church, Fulton.
She was born Sept. 11, 1921, in Albany, Ill., to Charles and Katie (Zeeryp) Boelkens.
She graduated from Fulton High School, Fulton.
She married Raymond W. Hartman July 25, 1945, in Fulton. He died Feb. 17, 1986.
She held several different jobs, most recently she was employed as a legal secretary and as an Avon Representative.
She was a member of Trinity Reformed Church, Fulton.
Survivors include four daughters, Marla (Craig) Drury, Fulton, Rita (David) Dragt, Willmar, Minn., Sheila (Randy) Balk, Fulton, Londa (Rev. Daniel) Wiersema, Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gerald (Betty) Boelkens, Fulton, and LaVerne (Shirley) Boelkens, Arlington Heights, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Bessie Boelkens; and two brothers, Curtis and Marvin Boelkens.
