Volunteers needed for Hearts and Hands program

— I would like to take the time to publicly thank the volunteers who participate in the hearts and Hands Program and RSVP. Hearts and Hands is a program designed to assist low income families and the elderly residents with household needs. This can include a water heater, landscaping, sheetrock, etc., which is unavailable to those on a limited income. RSVP coordinates this program with Dennis Glew, pastor of First United Methodist Church, and they are always in need of donations and people to volunteer their time. No previous experience is needed. Like their name, Hearts and Hands, if you have a heart and a hand they could use your help, which is truly reflective of their services. For more information call Tammy at RSVP, 243-7787.
