Summer lunch menus (June 30 to July 4)

CLINTON — Summer Lunch at Bluff and Jefferson Elementary Schools

Monday

Sausage patty on bun, mixed vegetables, potato triangle and fruit cocktail.

Tuesday

Walking taco, baby carrots, broccoli and cauliflower and melon chunks.

Wednesday

Barbecue ribette, vegetarian beans, french fries and banana.

Thursday

Chicken nuggets, spinach, seasoned loops and applesauce.

Friday    

No lunch.

Federal funds allow CCSD to provide these lunches at qualifying locations for children ages two through 18 at no charge, Monday through Friday. Adults may accompany, but meals are for children only. Children from any area may participate in this program.

Lunch will be served June 9 – July 25, 2014 from 11:30 to 12:30 only, no earlier or later. No lunches served on Friday July 4, 2014.

Monday

Chicken patty on wheat bun, spinach salad, sweet potato, pineapple and strawberry cream pie.

Tuesday

Tater tot casserole, broccoli mandarin orange salad, wheat bread, cherry Jello and pineapple.

Wednesday

Oven baked chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas with onions, cupcake and ice cream.

Thursday

Beef stroganoff, mixed vegetables, dinner roll, peaches and cake.

Friday

Closed.

Saturday and Sunday

Closed.

Locations include Park Towers, 329 Sixth Ave. South, Clinton; Prairie Village, 1141 13th Ave. North, Clinton; Garner Hall, 311 Ninth Ave., Camanche; and DeWitt United Methodist Church, 222 12th St., DeWitt.
