CLINTON — Multiple organizations will sponsor a program focused on the new healthcare law.
The Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce, Clinton Community College, Clinton Regional Development Corp and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will hold a program from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at Clinton Community College Technology Center.
Speakers include Alice Helle of BrownWinick and Sean Yolish of Merit Resources. They will provide answers to the many questions and concerns about the healthcare reform legislation.
This program will cover the following topics: Discover key coverage requirements; essential health benefits versus minimum value; medical loss ratio rebates; large employer determination; who is a full-time employee; “Employer Mandate” penalties; and wellness options and other non-plan impacts.
