Summer lunch menus (July 7 to July 11)

CLINTON — Summer lunch at Bluff and Jefferson Elementary

Monday

Hot dog on bun, baked beans, tater rounds and pineapple tidbits.

Tuesday

Pizza, corn, lettuce salad and watermelon.

Wednesday

Sloppy joe, squash, french fries and sliced peaches.

Thursday

Ham and cheese sandwich, green beans, tri tater and Mandarin oranges.

Friday

Chicken quesadilla, spinach, mixed vegetables and strawberries.

Federal funds allow CCSD to provide these lunches at qualifying locations for children ages two through 18 at no charge, Monday through Friday. Adults may accompany, but meals are for children only. Children from any area may participate in this program. Lunch will be served June 9 – July 25, 2014 from 11:30 to 12:30 only, no earlier or later.

Monday

Potato crunch pollock or hamburger on wheat bun, chips brussel sprouts and Mandarin oranges.

Tuesday

Italian herb roasted chicken breast, sweet baked potato, corn, autumn apple salad and M & M cookie.

Wednesday

Pork loin, mashed potatoes, gravy, garden salad and dressing, dinner roll and pecan pie.

Thursday

Barbecue shredded chicken on wheat bun, scalloped potatoes, broccoli and strawberry applesauce.

Friday

Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, pasta and fruit salad and tomato juice.

Saturday and Sunday

Closed.

Locations include Park Towers, 329 Sixth Ave. South, Clinton; Prairie Village, 1141 13th Ave. North, Clinton; Garner Hall, 311 Ninth Ave., Camanche; and DeWitt United Methodist Church, 222 12th St., DeWitt.
