CLINTON — A Clinton company and its employees raised almost $100,000 for the United Way of Clinton County during the 2013-14 campaign.
LyondellBasell and its employees raised more than $91,000 for the United Way of Clinton County, including more than $49,000 in employee contributions along with the company match.
United Way of Clinton County Executive Director Cheryl McCulloh said the United Way is grateful for the support.
“It is a significant part of our campaign and enables us and our funded agencies to help hundreds of people, when they need it, every year,” McCulloh said. “It also represents the extent to which LyondellBasell as a company and its employees are committed to a happier and healthier community.”
Supporting the United Way has become an annual tradition for LyondellBasell.
LyondellBasell Clinton complex site Manager Christopher Cain said the company is committed to giving back to the community.
“Our successful United Way campaign and being able to give a donation like this stems from their efforts,” Cain said.
